    Pinot Noir Jingella 2020

A heady compote of strawberries, red cherries, ruby grapefruit spice, sandlewood, cinamon and clove. It’s round textural palate delivers a harmonious palate of exotic spiced red fruits of cherries and plums. Balanced by fine tannins and well-measured acidity, it’s both dainty and deliciously moorish. 100% wild ferment, whole berry with gentle pigeage, followed by 7 months in new and old Sirugue oak; a natural malolactic in barrel. Low tech and careful, labour-intensive traditional winemaking with no winemaking addition, delivers a truly beautiful and natural expression of Hesket “Jingella” Pinot Noir.

Green and white gold in colour. Opens with hazelnut, toasty oak and waxy meyer lemon and meal. Citrus fruits dominate the palate with subtle fresh pineapple peeking in too. The palate is rich and creamy; texturally pleasing and long. Mineral charged acidity amplifies a clean line of lemon, lime, nectarine and just ripe pineapple wrapped in a spicy tangelo zest coat that gives a positive charge to the wine.
